This phone really doesn't live up to the hype. I am afraid I missed the smart phone capabilities. Who on earth still uses email to communicate? All my older phones had the capability to handle emails, it's just, no one has the need to use that capability. Take the office with you my foot. You can't store any files on this thing. Now with POLYPHONIC RINGTONES! Oh rubbish! Now you have all the great technology of the early 90's baby! Seriously, go get a Motorola V365 with all these features, plus picture & video camera, MP3 player, rugged shell, & a cheaper price. I really should have researched more before buying this thing, I was expecting that massive screen to be touch capable, or have a more PC operating system.
Also, the microphone didn't work fresh out of the box.

The ability to use the 7100g as a conference & speaker phone at the same time is a big plus. All the phone features work well. The only weaknesses so far are [1] scratching of the black 'enamel' surrounding the display screen, & [2] in ability to activate the AIM-type instant messaging add-on program.

East & fun to use, good for email, good features, lots of memory. No faults & I have had it on for 12 hours a day for a year, I use it for about 7 hours.
