This is by far the best phone I have ever owned! I previously owned the iPhone 3G which after a few months got so feed up with using it!

If like me you are after a touch screen phone & also a keypad don't look anywhere else, this is your phone.

I can't praise this phone enough it does everything you need & I only wanted to use it for calling & texting :0).

Good points:
- Looks amazing.
- Feels amazing.
- All around 100%.
- This beats the iPhone hands down.

& lastly the battery. If like me you use occasional Facebook & Internet this phone lasts me 4 days, 3 at the least & the I-phone lasted me 1 day if lucky

Bad points:
- There is none it is that good. I praise this phone so much.

If you are having second thoughts don't brilliant phone.

My daughter got her Torch five months ago & is now on her third one. The first just kept on freezing, the second one the buttons on the front fell off & couldn't be stuck back on.

When it works she loves it, & like the mixture of touchscreen & keyboard, but that is WHEN it's working.

I am a hardcore blackberry user, I have had blackberries since the bold 9000 which was a Cadillac! I purchased the white torch before releasing in UK so I was ecstatic. This blackberry was the biggest disappointment.

Problems
- Weak battery life.
- Very heavy - bulky for no reason.
- Lagging constantly because of the processor.
- When checking new message scrolls to the middle of the conversation.
- Not great reception.
- Slow browser (better than previous bb but still slow).
- Fragile phone.
- Slider is weak & felt loose.

Overall this did not feel sturdy & had too many common issues constantly.
I think all us blackberry users know the upside to BB's!
I have never written a review before but this phone was such a disappointment but I think I will be sticking to the bold family.

Don't buy it's a serious waste of money I bought for £320 & sold for £240!

Had my friends Torch for a week or so. This is what I have to say:

Pros.
Solid feel, slider one of the best I have used, both touch & QWERTY at ones disposal, good battery life, gives overall feel of a classy long lasting mobile

Cons.
Screen a little small (for browsing & videos), often hangs, very complicated (if you are a BB user then it's easy, or else the first week is going to be tough), pricy.

Conclusion.
If you are a fan of BB then it is one of the best BB till date. Otherwise one could get more bang for less money.

I never usually feel compelled to write a review on anything I ever purchase, however, this phone has seen a change from me.

Firstly, the design is just fantastic, it looks & feels fantastic. It's got a very good, robust feel to it, feels like a power phone!

The new OS is simply outstanding, it's got the full functionality that you would expect a touch screen from apple to have as well as the fantastic RIM keyboard.

All in all, this phone is just brilliant!

I was a diehard iPhone user until it started playing up. Finally managed to get O2 to bring my upgrade forward & opted for the Torch. This is my first BB & I am so glad that I decided to change. It literally does everything. It is a good looking handset, packed full of features & NO RESTRICTIONS as to what you can do (unlike the iPhone! ).

Battery life is good, but be sensible with what apps are left running as this will obviously impact battery life, as with all phones.

As with all BB, this syncs perfectly with iTunes & transfer of data is not a problem. It comes with a slide out keyboard which is useful for long text, email's but the touchscreen does just fine, very responsive & very easy to use.

If you want to break away from the iPhone crowd, I highly recommend the BB Torch.
