The BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 is a member of the popular Bold series & this impressive handset comes with a highly useable touch screen too. Other members of this popular series include the BlackBerry Bold 9700, the BlackBerry Bold 9650 & the BlackBerry Bold 9780. The Bold Touch 9900 is a 3G capable Smartphone which has a slim & well proportioned casing, making it easy to use in a single hand as well as being easy to carry when not in use. This Smartphone comes with amazing touch screen & full keyboard controls, plus it supports the BlackBerry® operating system version 7.0.

Appearance & Size
This outstanding BlackBerry Smartphone weighs one hundred & thirty grams in weight & its slim dimensions measure 1.05cm deep by 11.5cm tall by 6.6cm wide. Its stylish black coloured casing gives this member of the Bold series a fashion conscious face lift with its sleek curved edge design & a stylish patterned on the back cover. There is a 2.8 inch touch screen with a TFT capacitive display which provides a high resolution viewing experience. Below this user friendly & responsive touch screen is a full QWERTY keyboard complete with good sized & well positioned individual keys, plus it has a neat & usable keyboard layout. There is a touch sensitive trackball navigation key on the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 which is positioned centrally on the front of the casing & this allows the user to enjoy smooth & responsive navigation when required. The Bold Touch 9900 supports the BlackBerry® operating system version 7.0 complete with BlackBerry user interface.

Imaging, Media & Entertainment
A built in five megapixel camera complete with an automatic focus & a LED flash function allows the user to capture either still photos or moving videos on the move. These are a variety of image settings & options which allow the user to use their Smartphone as a digital camera & video recorder. Videos can be captured or played on the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 & this provides much entertainment for the user. Games can be downloaded & played on this Smartphone or the integrated music player allows the user to play music in popular music formats, complete with easy to use controls & music options.

The BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 is a Wi-Fi® capable Smartphone complete with Wi-Fi® Hotspot supports & the user can enjoy the use of a HTML Internet browser for access their desired websites. There is an assisted GPS navigation system complete with a BlackBerry® maps application which allows the user to find & view directions to new locations they desire. It is a 3G HSDPA & HSUPA capable handset which works over quad band GSM networks & tri band 3G networks, plus the handset will switch between networks to suit the user's network requirements. There is 768 megabytes of RAM integrated & a further 8 gigabytes of memory available, plus the external memory card slot can hold up to 32 gigabytes of memory using a compatible MicroSD™ memory card. To connect to other devices the user can use Bluetooth® wireless technology or use a compatible USB cable, this allows the user to transfer data files between the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 & other devices at high speeds thanks to EDGE technology.

Only had it a couple of days but I am quite pleased with much purchase. I was given no recommendation for this Smartphone, just bought it from spec list alone. Always wanted a BlackBerry & this one ticked all my boxes regarding design & functions.
