The BenQ-Siemens SL80 comes in a beautiful mauve sensation coloured casing & comes with a pretty mauve coloured beaded carry handle. The handset has a smooth & subtle slide opening mechanism which works on a ProSLIDE® mechanism which allows the user to open the casing with the lightest touch. The ProSLIDE® mechanism has to felt to be fully appreciated. The phone has a well spaced out keypad which can be used when the phone is in its opened position. The handset weights 99 grams in total & comes in a compact & rounded casing which feels good to hold in the users hand. The external casing has easy to use navigation keys & a beautiful TFT screen. The screen provides 262k colours which displays the users images in clear & brilliant colour. The BenQ-Siemens SL80 comes with 58 Mbytes of built in memory which is ideal for storing all the users treasured photos & video clips.

Sorry but this has been a bad buy. Purchased in Jan 2007 I have been very disappointed with the phones performance. I have already had to purchase a new battery for the phone but that has made no difference. It is awkward to use, poor reception & drains batteries. Sorry I am now buying a Sony Ericsson as I need to have reliability. It takes poor photos considering 1.3 mega pixel & not enough memory. It is a good looking phone but that's about all I can say in its favour, nice if you don't want one to actually use.

Ladies, Girls, Gals, Chicks, Babes we have a dream phone coming our way ;) I am HAPPY about the prospect of getting this mauve dream phone. SL80 must stand for Sexy Ladies under 80 years old, only joking. I am fed up with the pinks & bright pink phones that are on the mobile phone market. Most of the feminine coloured phones don't have the features I want & are not set at the right price range but this phone has potential as long as it's not too expensive. A 1.3 MP camera will be good with a flash for my night shots. I want a music player my phone so I can be in the mood for the Girl's Friday Night Out & have the coolest ringtones. Move over all other girls phones the Mauve is on its way...

Benq Siemens SL80 is another feminine styled phone by the slide opening action sounds good which may be one of the highlight of this model. I hope Benq Siemens release this phone in different colours which suit both genders. Excellent specification for a middle of the market phone.
