The phone is so good. The camera is also good. The colour is good. I support that contrast ratio. All is good but no wi-fi. No installed software. But any one can buy it. The music & video player is GOOD & it's also a real player. But the stereo headphone is poor. I CAN SAY TO the COMPANY. PLEASE MAKES BETTER HEADPHONE, LIKE SONY ERICCSON (BASS REFLEX). I AGAIN SAY TO the COMPANY. PLEASE MAKE SOME GREAT HEADPHONE. BECAUSE BENQ HEAD PHONE can't GIVE the REALSOUND, PERFECT BASS, NO HIGH VOLUME. THANK YOU. I LOVE BENQ.

I had this phone for about 4 months & all I can say is that I've made an excellent choice. Much better than the Siemens software, in fact the software is very stable unlike old Siemens phones.

Excellent picture quality very sharp & vivid thanks to the OLED technology. Great camera with auto focus, it snaps excellent pictures even at night. Good sound quality, solid & well built. Nice set of functions for the price.

SMS writing sometimes can be a little slow. Phonebook has a complicated search mode & contacts duplicate if you copy your SIM contacts to the phone memory. Uncomfortable joystick but otherwise this is the best phone ever.

Nice phone but not very Technical friendly. Everything is automatic & you can't really modify the phone to custom specifics. Cool music features but how do you get your music to play on your Bluetooth headset? The manual is a joke!

Beware MMS function seem not supported by UK networks & can't find how to connect to MMS services of any major network. Support line in UK appears discontinued.

I have bought Nokia mobiles from version Nokia 3310 to Nokia 6630. I never got any problems with these mobiles I bought during the past period. Recently, I saw the ads of BENQ-SIEMENS in the local news papers & on international football team' dresses. One month ago I bought BENQ-SIEMENS S88. The mobile looks nice but does not play the real player extension video & the sms could not be saved in the external card. The Arabic characters are more complicated & do not meet the characters in other mobiles such Nokia mobiles. Also to find an Arabic name (written from right to left) from the contact list is also more complicated. Once you press one Arabic character the mobile lists the names written from right to left (English names) & could not list down the Arabic names even if you change the mobile language to Arabic characters while in Nokia mobiles it supports both names from right to left & names from left to right. The last problem we found that no software's are available in the local market nor in the Internet. I suggest to the company to provide at pre-paid CD room in the mobile box with at least most of necessary software's such as Real-Player. However, the mobile has a lot of features such as 3D sound. Till this moment I failed to find Real-Player or equivalent to play my music with a Real-Player extensions which could not be work in the available BENQ-SIEMENS player.

For quite a while now I am using a ppc (I-mate jam) but since it have to go in for repairs now & then I bought a S88 to use rather than the ancient Motorola's my service provider give to use as loan phones. I always preferred Siemens phones, because quite simply, they always work. This new handset proves to be quite useful with all the features packed into it. Camera & video quality easily compares to the specs of more popular phones & beats the I-mate hands down in this department. Although it can't match a ppc on usability, it definitely to use mobile.

Slim design is well popular & it is good to see Siemens are following the trend at long last. I love siemens phones as they have a great layout & they feel like a really quality phone unlike the Nokia & Motorola phones that I have tried out. The S88 is well slim at 17mm & the measurement are well compact. Chuffed this model has a 2 mega pixel camera & has fab 16 x zoom which should take a decent shot. I always use my phones camera but it doesn't have 16 x zoom or a flash & auto focus like this phone. I like the idea of a camera button, well easy to use. I want this phone but have got to wait June as it will be my birthday, anyway I think this phone is new & not out yet.
