I like this phone. I used to use Siemens mobile phones & their menus & software system is perfect no other phones are like Siemens in menus & software. I don't know if the system of Benq Siemens E71 is like other Siemens phones system. I will try to buy this one because its features are perfect.

Like the phone & have had it for a year now. I like the performance & it never lets me down. Problem is that am looking for the case & can't get one, my case has seen better days but it still looks cool. BenQ Siemens EL71 rocks.

Overall it's a good phone but here in Romania is very hard to find an accessory for the Benq Siemens mobiles especially a data cable. Anyway at the price of 100 euros it has many functions.

Great looking phone brought mine brand new for £35.00 as clearance in Tesco's made up when I opened the box & read all the features, loved how it felt in the palm of my hand & it's a great posing off phone.

Disadvantages are lack of 3G, infrared to those phones which don't have Bluetooth & poor battery life if used a lot especially radio, videos, managed to get TV mobile from t-mobile on it though but not great a picture.

Only had my Siemens E71 a week & so far very good. This is my third Siemens & I have always been very pleased with them. In future you could add to the three criteria above a fourth option for people to rate. That is the ability to understand the Instruction Manual. On this option I would only give 40%. However no other problems so far I am very pleased with it.

When I bought it first in December last year it had no problems but lately has started switching its self off almost weekly, so I have to take it to the dealer in Nairobi, they can give me another set or else a refund!

* GREAT FEATURES; NICE Bluetooth, CLEAR PICTURES & VIDEOS WITH SO MANY OBTIONS TO SHOOT & RECORD

* BENQ-SIEMENS E71 PROVIDES the MOST RECENT COUNTRY CODES OF EVERY COUNTRY IN the GLOBE JUST ALL IN YOUR PHONEBOOK

* IT ALSO PROVIDES YOU WITH MAP TIME ZONES OF EVERY REGION

* IT HAS EDGE TECHNOLOGY, WHICH MAKES ITS Internet ON THIS PHONE VERY FAST & OUTSTANDING

* HERE COMES the BIGGEST PROBLEM I HAVE SEEN ON BENQ-SIEMENS E71; the PHONE COMES WITH PHONECODE/SECURITY CODE LIKEWISE ANYOTHER PHONE, HOWEVER, IT HAS NO KEYLOCK USING THAT SECURITY CODE OR PHONECODE, SO I HAD TO GO TO SCREEN SAVERS THAT HAS the PHONECODE, EVERYTIME the SCREEN SAVER'S TIME IS REACHED, the PHONE IS LOCKED WITH the SCREEN SAVER HAVING A PHONECODE, SO WHEN UNLOCKING SCREEN SAVER THAT HAS the PHONECODE, THERE IS A WARNING THAT TELLS YOU 'ONE ATTEMPT REMAINING' THAT MEANS; IF YOU MISWRITE the PHONECODE, THERE REMAINS TWO ATTEMPS FOR YOU TO PUT the CORRECT PHONECODE OF the SCREEN SAVER, SO TO MY CURIOUSITY OF KNOWING WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT WHEN PUT the INCORRECT PHONECODE FOR the REMAINING ATTEMPTS, the WHOLE PHONECODE GOT BLOCKED; MY PHONECODE OF MY BENQ-SIEMENS E71 IS UPTO NOW BLOCKED, NO OTHER OPTIONS, NO ANYOTHER THING, NO WHATSOEVER. I DON'T REALLY KNOW IF THAT HAPPENED TO the REST BENQ-SIEMENS E71 USERS. IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS PROBLEM, DO NOT MISWRITE the REMAINING PHONECODE ATTEMPS OF YOUR SCREENSAVER-KEYLOCK IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR PHONE GO WITHOUT ANY PHONE OR SECURITY CODE. Hey Guys & Ladies I have recently bought this amazing phone, the all New BenQ-Siemens E71 with around US$ 200, that is somewhat equivalent to Kshs 13, 000/= & everyone here around me is getting wow. It is amazing & easy to understand its features. Though the camera lane has no cover & somehow isn't that much clear when compared to other expensive phones like the Nokia N93, but it is wonderful & has 5 times digital zoom & records around 99 minutes of video when with memory card of 260 & around 6 minutes when without the memory card thing. So you may buy it, I recommend it for you. LOL. Really a nice phone to have.

Look guys I am now on my way to buy this wonderful mobile phone which made my dreams. I've recently compared MOTORAZR V3i, Nokia 6600 & Nokia 6070 to it, BenQ-Siemens E71 & I found that it is the best among those, after I've read all the comments made about all of them. So I think it is gorgeous & of great sense but please help if you've bought the mobile phone before & have seen disadvantages on it before I go out there & buy.

It's not supposed to be expensive, it's supposed to have good battery life... & features are there... To me it is smart compromise containing more that I would expect for size, weight, being realistic.

Wow what a surface, the Benq Siemens E71 has a cool looking coating on it. I like a tactile feel to my mobile phones & this is excellent. I am pleased it has EDGE but the lack of 3G is noticeable. I wanted video streaming & video calling but the whole look of this phone has the Wow factor & makes up for the lack of 3G features. The speed of EDGE is cool. me & my partner like to own phones that stand out & look different from all the rest.
