The BenQ-Siemens AL26 is a butterfly themed mobile phone which has a slider opening system. The AL26 is a fashionable phone which comes with a butterfly coloured theme & has a white shimmering effect with pink & purple butterfly motifs on its casing. The handset is small & compact which has a thickness of 19.2 mm. The handset has a short & chunky feel to it which is ideal for carry at all times in the users pocket. The phone comes with 1.5 Mbytes of shared memory for the user to store their phone book entries & messages on. The screen is visible when the AL26 is in its slide open or slide closed position. The colourful & bright screen is large & comes with a screen resolution 130 x 130 pixels. The user can select & change the phones screensavers & wallpapers to create a personal feel & look to the BenQ-Siemens AL26.

The AL26 comes in another design which is know as the BenQ-Siemens AL26 Hello Kitty which is based on the Hello Kitty theme. The AL26 Hello Kitty design has a shimmering metallic pale pink coloured casing which has images of the Hello Kitty printed on the front & back of the handset. The AL26 Hello Kitty comes with Hello Kitty unique themes, wallpapers, ringing tones & games.

The AL26 comes with polyphonic ringing tones which the user can change easily to suit their mood & feeling for the day. The user can activate or deactivate the vibration alert feature which will provide the user with a vibration from the handset when a new call comes in or a message is delivered to the messaging inbox. The BenQ-siemens AL26 comes with a handsfree speaker phone feature which allows the user to take a call over the speakers when the user needs to take part in other jobs or tasks which prevents the user from holding the phone to their ear.

The user can create, send & receive text messages & multimedia messages on the AL26. The user can send a message to any compatible mobile phone user who have the relevant message service. The phone comes with a predictive text input method which will predict the user words when typing a message. The BenQ-siemens AL26 come with entertainment which includes preloaded games for the user to enjoy in their spare time.

The user can select either a daily, weekly & monthly overview of the calendar & be reminded of important dates & meetings with the reminder feature. The phone book is easy to create & allows the user to add, remove & amend contacts information. The phone keeps a record of all calls made by the user, calls received & calls missed.

The user can connect the BenQ-siemens AL26 to their personal computer using a USB connection. The phone work on a GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900 network. The user can access the Web using the WAP Web browser which can be found on the main menu of the AL26.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HELLO KITTY ASK ANY OF MY FRIENDS I AM ADDICTED TO HER I HAVE EVERYTHING HELLO KITYY.THIS PHONE IS SO CUTE BUT I HOPE the PRICE ISN'T OUTRAGEOUS BECAUSE A PHONE WITHOUT A CAMERA OR VIDEO THESE DAYS ARE USELESS. SO THATS WHY I RATED IT 50% BECAUSE ITS HALF DONE. IT DISAPPOINTS ME THOUGH THAT AS CUTE AS the PHONE IS ITS NOT FULLY EQUIPPED WITH ALL the NECCESSARY FEATURES.BUT I LOVE the HELLO KITTY THEME THOUGH.

It's a gorgeous phone, in hello kitty & not in hello kitty, but you've got to be serious. If you're looking for a good phone with good features & something very useful this isn't the phone for you. It doesn't even have camera or video. I really loved it right about to get it & I just noticed how it had no camera lens.

Hello Kitty is puuurrrrfect looking phone but I am well disappointed that it doesn't come with a camera & video feature. I could not have a phone without a camera. My mates agree with me that this phone hasn't got enough going on but we all love the Hello Kitty theme.

Benq siemens have designed this for the younger FEMALE users & with a low budget. I hope it is low in price because the features are none existent for the buyers money.
